If you are concerned about ducks using your pool and garden, there are a few approaches that you can use to encourage them to move on. These include physical barriers, changing the vegetation and using deterrents, such as replica predators.
For example, placing all of your blow-up pool equipment in the pool will deter ducks from entering.
If ducklings seem to be stuck in your pool, scoop them out or place a secured towel over the pool steps for them to climb out on. Ducklings are prone to pneumonia if left in the water and should be removed if they can’t exit the pool on their own.
