Redland City Council invites you to dive into an exciting lineup of events and activities, from the action-packed triathlon, heart-pumping mountain biking, hikes, and kayaking to the thrill of stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and sailing. Shop unique treasures at vibrant markets or unleash your creativity at inspiring artistic workshops. Explore the naturally wonderful Redlands Coast – a playground of breathtaking bays, islands, mountains, conservation reserves, and charming villages.

Redlands Coast AdventureFest Fun Day

As part of the festival, Council will host the Redlands Coast AdventureFest Fun Day, a free community event at Raby Bay Harbour Park on Saturday 17 May 2025, from 10am – 5pm.

Hosted by Ranger Stacey, the event promises a full day of adventure, entertainment and rides celebrating the festival’s key themes: active, family, artistic, nature, culinary and wellness adventures.

In addition to the incredible lineup, there will be plenty of exciting activities for all ages, including adrenaline-pumping experiences, kids' activities, adventure sports demonstrations, a jetpack water show, wildlife presentations, information stalls and free giveaways.

Treat your taste buds to a feast at the Culinary Corner, featuring delicious dishes available for purchase from local producers and food trucks. Enjoy regional wines and beers from Sirromet Wines and Straddie Brewing Co.

Bring your family, chairs and picnic blankets and come and enjoy an unforgettable day of adventure on Redlands Coast.

Accessibility

Redlands Coast AdventureFest Fun Day at Raby Bay Harbour Park is wheelchair accessible. A dedicated accessible stage viewing area is available for event attendees with limited mobility.

Limited disabled parking is available in Cleveland.

A designated quiet chill-out zone will be provided for those who require a controlled sensory environment and breakout space.

Redlands Coast AdventureFest Fun Day is a free event. Tickets to enter are not required.

By public transport

Raby Bay Harbour Park is situated adjacent to Cleveland train station. Take advantage of the 50 cent train fares on the Cleveland line. For further information or to plan your bus or train journey visit the TransLink website.

By car

Free parking will be available in Cleveland. See the website for information.

Some changed traffic conditions including road closures will be in place so please allow extra time.

Bring yourselves and your families of course! Chairs, blankets, picnics, your own food and drinks can be brought in. However, no glass, metal cutlery or BYO alcohol is permitted. Please refer to the full list of allowed and prohibited items.

Permitted items

  • Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses
  • Poncho
  • Water
  • Picnic blanket
  • Small picnic or camping chair (the area closest to the stage will be reserved for blankets only, no chairs)
  • Cabin-sized esky up to 30L

What can’t I bring?
It is a condition of entry for all event attendees that the following items are not brought into the event venue. Security personnel will conduct random bag checks upon entry into the venue. This is for the safety, security and comfort of all event attendees.

Illegal items will be confiscated.

Non-illegal items that are prohibited can be removed and taken back to the event attendee’s vehicle.

Prohibited items

  • No alcohol and illegal substances
  • No large umbrellas, tents and tables
  • No glass, sharp objects, metal cutlery or weapons
  • No bean bags, large deck chairs or reclining chairs
  • No flammable or explosive items or liquids
  • No lasers, laser pointers and torches
  • No large eskies (max size 30L)
  • No drones or unmanned aircraft
  • No pets except for service animals e.g. Guide dogs and assistant dogs
  • No unauthorised advertising materials

Yes. Food will be available for purchase from a range of food trucks at the event. You may also bring your own picnics if you wish or visit nearby restaurants.

There will be very limited seating available. You are welcome to bring your own small picnic chair, camping chair or picnic blanket.
