Canoe and kayak launch points

Come and see Redlands Coast's beautiful coastline by the water. Easy water access points allow you to visit beautiful coastal scenery and the bay islands by canoe or kayak.

There are many launch points for small water craft at various locations in public parkland across the city and islands. Most of the launch points are informal, and all are easy to access and open for use.

Tide times and launch points

Please check tide times before accessing a launch point. These sites are best accessed for an hour each side of high tide, but some sites are accessible at other times.

NB: Council advises users to check weather and tide forecasts and assess their abilities before heading out on the bay.
