Doing business with Council

When seeking outsourced goods and/or services, Council does so though various methods including Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), establishing and purchasing under our own Standing Offer (SOA) and Prequalified Supplier Arrangements (PQSA) or purchasing under existing Standing Offer and Prequalified Supplier Arrangements managed by LocalBuy and other local, state and federal government entities) and in some circumstances, direct negotiations.

Redland City Council’s e-Sourcing platform is VendorPanel.  Council utilises VendorPanel to release, lodge and close submissions, evaluate and award outsourced opportunities.  Approaches to the market may be open tender, select or restricted to one or more specific parties.  Open tenders are published on Redland City Council’s website and released via VendorPanel.

Businesses can register as a supplier on VendorPanel Marketplace.  Doing so makes registered business details visible to Council buyers and enables notification of opportunities released within nominated categories.  To get started REGISTER your business as a VendorPanel Marketplace Supplier and select the categories that best match your goods and/or services.  Further information can be found via the VendorPanel Supplier Platform.

Businesses can also apply to be a supplier under LocalBuy Panel Arrangements set up to prequalify and contract suppliers and streamline Council procurement activities.  Further information can be found via the LocalBuy Supplier Platform
