Paul Gollé has been an elected Councillor since 2016, advocating for local government issues on behalf of the Redland City community.
A seasoned professional in Operations Management, Risk Analysis, and Training and Development, Paul possesses educational qualifications in legal services, strategic leadership, risk management, human and physical resource supervision, and workplace training and assessment.
Before his role as Councillor, Paul was the Managing Director of Sectac Pty Ltd, specialising in international projects where risk management was crucial. He provided strategic solutions for BLP Training Services, US-based DynCorp International, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technologies in the Middle East. Paul's extensive portfolio includes account management and client advocacy for Canadian-based McCain Foods, ensuring client needs were understood and met by working closely with internal departments.
Earlier in his career, Paul served as a commander in the Australian Defence Force, participating in various domestic and international operations. His dedication earned him several awards, including the Soldier's Medallion for exemplary service.
Paul is dedicated to improving local government practices and supporting reforms to eliminate corruption. He prioritises community engagement, responsible budget management, exceptional customer service, and effective project planning and delivery in the Redlands. His focus is on producing sustainable, human-centered, and data-driven results while adhering to the principles of the Local Government Act 2009.
