The Redlands Coast Stronger Communities Strategy 2024–2027 [PDF, 1.5MB] provides a guiding framework for Council’s work in supporting our residents to be part of a strong, connected, and resilient community that meets their needs now and into the future.
The Stronger Communities Strategy sets out how Council will plan and deliver approaches and initiatives to strengthen our city’s social fabric, to safeguard Redlands Coast as a city with a naturally wonderful lifestyle, connected communities and a city ready to embrace opportunities.
Development and implementation of the Stronger Communities Strategy aligns with Council’s A Corporate Plan to 2026 and Beyond Goal 2: Strong Communities, which sets the long-term vision and goals for the city.
In developing the Strategy, Council has considered the valuable feedback received during community consultation. Council also conducted a series of engagement activities with key community groups and service stakeholders designed to explore community sentiment around the present and potential future state of our communities. The Stronger Communities Strategy’s vision and themes are aligned with community aspirations identified through these processes.
Vision: Redlands Coast has resilient and inclusive communities where residents of all ages and abilities are safe, connected and supported.
