Library Lockers

Redland City Council has introduced a new way for all library members to access library items when it’s convenient for them. This free service is especially helpful for workers and carers who are unable to visit the libraries or Mobile Library during operating hours.

Location

The library lockers are located outside of the Cleveland Library at the corner of Bloomfield and Middle Streets in Cleveland.

Reserving items for locker pickup

To reserve a library item to pick up at the Cleveland Lockers, log in to your account on the library catalogue or via the library app.

When placing a reservation, change the Pickup location to or select Cleveland Lockers.

When the item is available, you will receive notification for collection at the lockers.

The same borrowing and renewing guidelines apply to all locker reservations.

Collecting items from the lockers

When the item is available, arrive at the Cleveland Lockers with your library membership card or have your barcode via the library app at the ready.

To access your reserved item, first touch the screen and then follow the directions. You will need to scan your library card barcode.

Follow the prompts on the screen, and the locker door will open automatically. Retrieve your items and close the locker door.

If multiple items are held in the same locker, you must take all items with you. These items will be checked out to your library card.

Return to the touchscreen to finish your transaction.
