Disability parking permits are issued by the Queensland Government.
Council has allocated various car parks around the Redlands Coast for use by people with a current disability permit. They are marked with the standard symbol of access (see right).
You can park in these allocated spaces only if you hold an appropriate permit. Ensure the permit is current, and is visible on the front left hand side of the windscreen with the permit number and expiry date clearly showing.
Fines apply for parking in a car space allocated for people with a disability permit without a current permit.
